Bushmen Bushbed PRO Hammock with Mosquito Net – Camo
BUSHBED™ PRO/CAMO -large, comfortable, lightweight hammock in camo design with an integrated mosquito net, equipped with an optimal hanging system based on solid wide tree hugger straps. Intuitive one-pull mosquito net release system, convenient overhead pocket for small items. Low weight, full comfort of use. Unique design for the most demanding users.
The BUSHBED™ PRO/CAMO is the perfect choice for dense forests, so seaside, or backyard gardens.
Lying comfortably in a hammock, just pull the cord and the mosquito net integrated into the canopy “automatically” extends over your head. You just have to fasten the buckle of the mosquito net and you are fully protected against insects.
The mosquito net has a mesh size of only 1 mm and protects against even the smallest insects such as black flies, fleas, or young ticks. The density and special thread used in the netting make it almost impossible for twigs, grasses, and other debris to stick to it.
The net itself takes up about 2/3 of the mosquito net, while the area over your head is covered by the fabric. This combination offers protection from direct sunlight, moisture, and dust.
Adjust the hammock easily while lying in it by simply pulling the cord to extend the integrated mosquito net over your head. Secure the net with the buckle for complete protection from insects. By tilting the net, a window is created between the canopy and the hammock. Unlocking the second slider at the end of the hammock allows you to open the net directly over your head. The hammock fabric, with its zippered enclosure, creates a safe and comfortable cocoon for the rest of the body, connecting the edges of the hammock for 2/3 of its length.

You forget you’re wearing it
I have had a Terra Nova Compact for several years now and have used it on hiking, cycling and motorcycling trip and have found it to be a good compact tent except when it is windy when the sides billow in a lot.
The All Season is designed to have more rigid sides and generally succeeds, the greater internal space is good but there is no longer enough room in the vestibule for panniers or a rucksack but they do fit inside now.
I would still use the original Compact for hiking due to the weight saving but I am sure the AS is perfectly suitable for this as well.
This is a small upgrade on the Silva Expedition.
The baseplate is the same, and very usable. The needle seems to settle a little faster, and a must have declination adjustment.
What sold it to me was the overall appearance. It does look professionally made, with the nostalgic look of some of the very early Silva compasses that I used.
