I have had a Terra Nova Compact for several years now and have used it on hiking, cycling and motorcycling trip and have found it to be a good compact tent except when it is windy when the sides billow in a lot.
The All Season is designed to have more rigid sides and generally succeeds, the greater internal space is good but there is no longer enough room in the vestibule for panniers or a rucksack but they do fit inside now.
I would still use the original Compact for hiking due to the weight saving but I am sure the AS is perfectly suitable for this as well.
This is a small upgrade on the Silva Expedition.
The baseplate is the same, and very usable. The needle seems to settle a little faster, and a must have declination adjustment.
What sold it to me was the overall appearance. It does look professionally made, with the nostalgic look of some of the very early Silva compasses that I used.
It was a shot in the dark choosing this sleeping mat unseen online from Freshair junkie as had looked at several other types in my local outdoor store and was not really impressed. I found Fresh air junkie website when looking at reviews and really pleased I did as it was exactly as required ,reasonable price and quick delivery.
Tent was dispatched and delivered quickly, at a very fair price. It’s a great bit of kit, very sturdy and easy to erect.
Best price available and delivered on time, the whole process was straight forward and I will use again.
I’ve ‘saved’ money by buying cheaper imitations. They don’t last. I think this original will. Retailer very good too.
Excellent mitts and delivered promptly. In February, we’d been on holiday in cold weather and were struggling to keep our hands warm when walking with trekking or Nordic walking poles. We’d previously bought various waterproof/windproof/warm gloves which were ok in spring/autumn, but didn’t keep our hands warm in cold weather. Everyone seems to recommend gloves when walking with poles, but thought we’d try these mitts - they're not bulky. At last, warm dry hands in cold weather and no problem gripping the walking poles.
Easy to use very bright light for my night runs i would use this company again and highly recommended kept in contact
I am awaiting delivery of the Windmaster burner so have not yet had a chance to try out this light pot stand
The Montane Gecko vest was slightly too tight in the medium size. I requested an exchange for a large size, and it was sent super quick. The vest is fantastic. Im training for an ultra marathon and need a vest that can carry more stuff. I am over the moon with the cest snd the service from Freshairjunkie.
Fast despatch well packaged as described, great gloves very warm and easy to change from mittens to fingerless gloves when dexterity becomes necessary without removing them altogether, just what I wanted
We love Bridgedale Trekker socks as they are so comfortable and hard wearing. Freshair Junkie was a similar great find. We will be back for more.
Arrived within a few days. Very light weight which is just what I wanted. Lots of pockets for everything I need for my runs. Would recommend to anyone doing long or short run.
Can’t comment on the product as I’ve not used it yet. However, service and delivery time were both first rate
