Wild Country Hoolie Compact 3 Backpacking Tent

I must say I’m extremely impressed with my new Wild Country Hoolie Compact-3 Tent, brought it as part of a multi-deal with the footprint, and it was still far cheaper than buying it direct from Terra Nova - even though they also had it discounted by some margin on their website! (and without the footprint)
The tent itself is very spacious inside after putting it up in the garden, in fact it’s the perfect size for 2 people and all their gear!
It would be a squeeze however for 3 people and gear inside.
I like the huge vestibule and how the outer door has 4-zips, enabling venting while cooking, or simply just used as a ‘look-out’ or to add a bit extra ventilation on warmer nights.. Overall it looks a very sturdy tent indeed and was solid as a rock when pitched in the garden, even without using any of the Guy lines!
It’s not particularly heavy for a 3-man tent and packs down nice and compact length wise, but it is a little on the bulky side with the width when packed away in it’s bag.

I’m also very impressed with Fresh Air Junkie’s customer service, as when I initially ordered I forgot to add the footprint bundle to the tent when I placed the order.
I sent an email 10 mins later explaining my error, and asked if I could get a refund and then re-order with the footprint offer, much to my surprise I got a response 20 mins later, even though it was past 9:30pm! So a few more emails later (until after 10pm) and it was all sorted for me!!
The tent arrived in perfect condition just 2 days later…
