Bought these to cope with the sub-zero temperatures in rural NE Scotland. They’re quite substantial, a bit stiff initially. After just a few uses, they do become easier to get on and more flexible. You’re not likely to be doing anything requiring huge manual dexterity in these though. They’re quite thick, so there’s limited ‘feel’ when searching for zip tags, etc and I think fastening boot laces will be a non-starter. However, they are warm and they have elasticated wrist loops, so when you do need to take them off, you don’t need to find somewhere to put them. I can still get cold finger ends in them at times, but I’m old and have had a stroke just over a year ago, so my circulation is a bit compromised. If you don’t have such problems, I think you’ll probably be fine in these. Service from FreshAirJunkie was good. Arrived quicker than expected close to Christmas by Royal Mail. Price was competitive. An email question was quickly answered. I’ve seen some negative reviews about FAJ service, but that wasn’t my experience. Same as dealing with any company online, assess your requirements, measurements, and the product details carefully and order appropriately. Keep things as new, give them a quick try on at home if appropriate, and return promptly in the same state you received them if not suitable.
